No. Unforunately, the data is through another website.

SENOR!

This is the most beautiful thing I have seen in - well, forever!

Dropsonde decoder AND profiler (that's my favorite part right there, should help in our FL conversion factor arguments), and the GE stuff works VERY well! It's perfect! I think I'd hug you if I wasn't a guy . . .

Three cheers for Mike!
:woo: :woo: :woo:

And a sample image from the GE of the data in the spreadsheet by default:

And a quick question - what's with the white and blue colors? I know the blue is supposed to be TD strength, but what's the white, and why did they change?

Well... the blue is for tropical depression strength. However, the spreadsheet switches to white when the aircraft is at cruising altitude. (Above 15,000ft).

I understand there are some issues already with the protection through the spreadsheet. (I made a slight error that escaped the testing process)

I'll post here when I get the update loaded.

Pardon the bump, but I want to highlight this for the pending recon mission set for tomorrow.

Yet another update...

Thanks for all the comments and suggestions! ...and a very special thanks to WindRunner who has been really giving me a lot of feedback.

Anyway, v2.0.3 is now up. It has a slight tweak to the dropsonde profiler to remove plots that are unavailable.

I just downloaded it again (vs 2.04), and it still won't let me copy in the recco or vortex data, protected.

Ensure that you are only copying and pasting what needs to be copied. It appears that you are pasting in too much information and/or pasting it in the wrong areas. You should only paste within the white-colored cells.

I've just tested both RECCO and VDM, along with another person, and they are working fine.

Thanks seniorpepr! What a great product, like I told you back in May, just amazing!! Cell A1 in worksheet "RECCO" is protected, I tried just clearing the contents. Also protected are cells A2-4. I went back to the old one, version 1, and it's working fine. I must be doing something wrong, but can't figure what?? Maybe something went wrong on the download. I'll try that again. :D

Thanks for the comments. I wish I could figure out why you are having problems. On v2.0.4, cells A1-D4 are unlocked. What website are you copying from?

I got the file from http://tropicalupdates.nhcwx.com/ReconExcel.xls
I've tried again 3 ways: Open link, Open link and then save to disk and open that, "Save target as" download.
Cells A1-A4 are locked. Cells B1-D4 are not locked.

I still have no clue what is going on. I even downloaded the file from the same link onto a different computer and had no problems.

Cells A1-D4 were unlocked.
