30 knot surface winds is the best we have now. But we are only in the SW quadrant - normally the weakest part.

Actually this is 850mb so the reduction is 80%. 35 knots flight-level is 28 knots at the surface.

how low do you guys think the pressure will be when it gets to the center? I am going to say 1002mb

So the biggest gust appears to be 56kts at 35.35N, 73.49W

That's just in the SW quad, strongest winds have been in the NE Quad.

52kts in NW Quad is higher they what they reported this morning from that Quad.

45 knots seems to be the surface speed at this point. We have a 50 mph storm at least now...

They seem to just flown over to the NW Quad. I think they are trying to sample TS force winds in the west of side of the storm first, so they know if and where to issue new TS watches in Southern New England.
