THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SIOUX FALLS HAS ISSUED A

* TORNADO WARNING FOR...
COTTONWOOD COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST MINNESOTA
JACKSON COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST MINNESOTA

* UNTIL 1000 PM CDT

* AT 929 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A TORNADO 3 MILES SOUTH OF
BINGHAM LAKE...OR ABOUT NEAR WINDOM...MOVING EAST AT 25 MPH.

* THE TORNADO WILL BE NEAR...
BERGEN...MOUNTAIN LAKE AROUND 935 PM CDT...

The outbreak is starting!!!

Duhh. Supercells are exploding in southern Minnesota... the cape is starting to break. It's not rocket science. You following radar? There was nothing, then BOOM.

Hm, sometimes you can feel it, that´s right...Which satelite loop except the noaa do you recommend...

Cap breaking, not cape.

And supercells firing doesn't necessarily mean outbreak. Though, it's possible tonight.

Well, other than those three cells in southern MN, the cap held.

Worst thing on the LSR page is the St. Louis Derecho.

Here in Madison, we had a nasty straight-line wind event come through last night about 2:45 am or so. Report of 82 mph winds in Monona, which is a SE suburb of Madison. I woke up to sustained winds of at least 50 mph, torrential rain, and very frequent cloud to ground lightning. It was pretty freaky, actually.
