Not necessarily, Holly. My Mom's stepdad smoked like a chimney for many years and just decided to stop one day. He told me that since he stopped he never had the desire to light up again.

Different people have different experiences. I hope yours is like his.

I'm not going to wish you "Good Luck" because such talk is meaningless to me. It's like those folks on Wheel of Fortune shouting "Big money, big money" and landing on Bankrupt! Total waste of breath, IMO. I'll pray for you, though.

It's one of the hardest things to do. Sometimes it takes a few times before you succeed so don't feel bad if you try and you end up smoking again. Keep trying!!

My Father died of lung cancer. It was horrible way to die. He smoked.....MGC

Good Morning everyone. Had my first smoke-free morning today and it feels great. Can't wait to go wash my hair and actually have it smell good throughout the day.
