Reminder-South Florida Gathering-July 29th

In case anyone missed the notice, the South Florida crew is planning another get together for Saturday, July 29th. This time we're moving north to Hurricane Alley, 529 E Ocean Ave, Boynton Beach.

I'm not sure if the plans call for a 7 or 8 pm start, someone else please chime in here. :lol:

I hope everyone in the area comes up to Hurricane Alley on the 29th. The last gathering was a great time!

I went to Hurricane Alley tonight and it is a pretty cool place I assure you of that. It's got a small town feel to it, with pleanty of hurricane memorabilia and I ordered myself a Feederband.

Actually it's 7 - when they kick us out... then we'll make our way to the beach or another bar.

I probably won't be able to make it next weekend. My uncle called to tell me that he needs help next weekend because he is having a birthday party for my cousin on sunday over Port Charlotte. I didn't want to contact you until I was sure about it. Maybe we can set up another date in addition to the one next week. I feel so bad but, I didn't know about this until last weekend. I would feel like crap if I don't go to my uncles next week but, on the other hand I will feel bad because I won't be at our gathering. What is worse is that you and I were the ones that set it up and now I cant attend. It figures that it would be the only weekend in July when I don't have something to do.

As far as the gethering on the 12th lets try to meet at a different place. We can look around and find the best place for all of us to meet at.. or one that we like the best. Maybe we'll try Delray Beach next. Boca and I met the other night on Atlantic avenue in Delray at the Bru's Room. Nice place and I'm sure there are some other cool places we could go to in Delray.

We'll have the meeting on Saturday (Eventhough I won't be in attendance) but, we also have the next one on the 12th and then One in September and so on and so forth.

So Let's get a list of all the people who are going.

I'm looking at the August 12th date as an after party to the 29th. After all, this South Florida gang knows how to PARTY........those Louisana and Mississippi Storm 2K'ers have nothing on us!!!

Saturday night will be great. I hope we get a good turnout. I'm sorry that SouthFloridaWX can't be with us, but we'll have round or two in his honor.

We'll start around 7 or so and then Boca will drive up after work. For those that don't know the location, we'll be at Hurricane Alley, 529 E Ocean Ave, Boynton Beach, FL. The phone number over there is (561) 364-4008.

PM me for directions if you need them.

Please let me or SouthFloridaWX know if you're coming so we can add you to the list, although it's fine to just show up too!

Can't wait to see everyone on Saturday.

I'll be at the Saturday (July 29th) meeting at Hurricane Alley at around 6PM. Is that early enough? Will we meet at the entrance at 7PM? Also, Nathan, when will we all go over to the beach and other local bars? Thanks!

Don't forget. Saturday the 29th is the night for the South Florida Storm2K July PARTY at Hurricane Alley in Boynton Beach ( 529 E Ocean Ave, 1 block east of Boyton Beach Blvd.)

The place is great....cool hurricane stuff on the walls, great food and the drinks have hurricane themed names. SouthFloridawx tried a Feederband and reported that it put him in a mellow frame of mind.

Come one, come all and bring your friends. Weather knowledge is not required!

The fun starts at 7:00.
