Wow, what a good article. Usually the media gets such a hard time about reporting inaccuracies and sensationalizing things, but here's an example of a thorough report that seems to cover all of the bases that popped into my head anyway.

I especially liked the parts where the author points out that "hurricanes cover large areas regardless of where the storm's eye passes." and that "better forecasts of a storm's intensity lag far behind" efforts at accurately predicting a storm's path.

Good article, but I think that we're starting to get into an area where we are so good already that each additional increase is going to get tougher and tougher. I think 20% is quite ambitious over the next 6 years...with one exception and that's another topic altogether.
