The african wave train to Florida/Out to sea/North Carolina/GOM/New England/exc, departs August 1st
In about 10 days after Aug 1st if/when the train reaches us here in Florida I will also be departing

Too far north for development? IMO that is the perfect latitude for any possible development in the E Atlantic.

I agree 100%. They cancelled the CV parade last year, and i don't expect a very busy CV season this year.

Hopefully if we do have CV storms they won't be long trackers that make their way into the Caribbean and eventually the GOM, those are the ones that usually stay over warm water long enough for them to be Majors.

I think the conditions are too hostile this year. Yes, i know things can change in the next month.
