Thanks for the info. It just seems to me most of the convection is moving around the 500mb low which is keeping the rains south and east of here. I just don't see how it will get drawn up here again. But hey I could be wrong, at least according to NWS I am....
Not so quick, these storms are building SW of Houston.
Where did you get that radar image from?

There are also some weak echos popping back up in Brazoria County And a new T storm cell. Things might start to get interesting in Houston Metro area. I guess NWS knew what they were talking about.

Still surprised about the ULL that popped up near San Antonio. South Texas is getting pounded as well right now..
Might be time to ponder the first retirement of an invest...

From Corpus' afternoon SWS...
AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL PRODUCE SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS
WITH LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN TONIGHT...
AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL COMBINE WITH COPIOUS TROPICAL
MOISTURE AND HIGH INSTABILITY TO PRODUCE SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS
ACROSS THE COASTAL PLAINS...COASTAL BEND AND VICTORIA CROSSROADS
REGION TONIGHT.
Almost postive this was not our old 98L as you could plainly see the ULL near San Antonio on visible earlier....

Well with the old broad circulation over land and the ULL causing more uplifting this is not a good sign either.
