#1 Postby TheEuropean » Fri Jul 28, 2006 3:25 pm

Hello,

anyone noticed this wave?

Floater#2 is on it:

Shower activity is increasing and shear is relativly low. I think we should watch this wave two.

Hopefully it will not be a big problem for us here in terms of rainfall.Although there is a small craft advisory in effect because of choppy seas caused by strong winds that are in the surge of this wave.

It's been mentioned in the discussions for several days now, but until today had hardly any convection.

Over the next few days if this can hold together then this could become 90L.

shear looks pretty low, if convection stays active we might have something here.

Everytime this year we stated a system looked good and poof gone the next day. Why? My guess is the tutt and ULL's.

5AM TWO:

A WESTWARD-MOVING TROPICAL WAVE IS PRODUCING CLOUDINESS AND SHOWERS
OVER MUCH OF THE EASTERN CARIBBEAN SEA...PUERTO RICO...THE VIRGIN
ISLANDS...AND THE NORTHERN LEEWARD ISLANDS. UPPER-LEVEL WINDS ARE
ONLY MARGINALLY FAVORABLE...AND FURTHER DEVELOPMENT...IF ANY...
SHOULD BE SLOW TO OCCUR.
