New Burst of Convection in Carribean: Could it become 90L?

#1 Postby 'CaneFreak » Sun Jul 30, 2006 11:23 am

Well Well Well, if it isn't another burst of Convection south of Jamaica....Sitting in about 5-10 knots of shear, has decent outflow in all quadrants, decent convection, and much much more....Keep your eyes on it because it could have another convective burst late this afternoon and become an invest tonight....time will tell...

the only things that seem to be negating development right now is a llc and mid level dry air

Just a guess, but, the convection appears to be due to some sort of convergence line - likely to dissipate later in the day...
