Its been 6 years!

Been six years now since I quit drinking...not real sure if it was July 31 or August 1 (does it really make a difference? :lol: ) Life isnt all peachy but its a hell of a lot better than it would have been had I not quit. No more hangovers or wrapping change for beer money. Hadda sober up to realize the insanity of it all. Thanks for letting me brag! 8-)

:D Congratulations from me too!!!! My brother has been sober about 12 years now, he was an alcohol terrorist before that. Even greater, the boy we figured least likely to even graduate high school went on to get a Master's Degree, and is now the Department Head of Addiction Services of the largest Catholic hospital in NY! Way to go Bro!!! Way to go George!!!
