How long until TS Debby forms?

#1 Postby Grease Monkey » Tue Aug 01, 2006 4:03 am

I'm sticking with my original prediction from the "How long until Chris" thread.

Grease Monkey wrote:Debby will form August 5th. Will Chris form on that day too? Who knows, but for some reason my Hurri senses tell me Debby Aug. 5th. For now, Chris will be a mystery.

Many of you are too young to remember the movie

Debbie Does Dallas (1978) with Bambi Woods :)

Yeah... Bambi died in 1986, 27 years old, in LA from O.D. So sad.

August 5-7th. I have a feeling that not this wave behind Chris, but the next wave that comes off Africa will be Debby. :ggreen:

I agree. I have a feeling it will not be that long, say about another week.

I say August 6th, 2006. It will be the 5:00 am discussion. It will not be the wave that came off Africa a few days ago we are all watching right now, but the one behind it. When that one forms, the wave in front will be a homegrown system later on.

I have no idea. But run the global models from 00z (last night). I think you'll be seeing something by the end of the week.

August 7 from the next Cape Verde wave. First hurricane of 2006, and a fish-spinner.
