This season will be famous for everyone who thought it will heat up soon but it didn't making the season cancel posts correct for the first time in many years.

This season will be famous for huge busts left and right.

This season will be famous for lack of tropical cyclones that rack up lots of ACE.

This season will be famous for how Ernesto was going to hit Texas or even Northern Mexico but instead did the impossible and hit central Florida and the East Coast.

This season will be famous for being very boring during the middle of August.

Did it occur to anyone that this year might not be famous for ANYTHING? Quick, what was 1987 famous for? How about 1994?

And by "famous", I don't mean something that 8 people on the message board and 3 people at the NHC remember.

The arrival of space weather as a legitimate forecasting tool. And that all the talks about GW causing increased ATL storms will be put to rest.

With 2 Invests and a decent wave coming off the african coast now... I would say this season is far from over.
