Come on Kevin, honestly tell me that you do not reference everyday situation to things that have happend in the past!

This team reminds of the "----" Yankees or "----" Marlins or this storm reminds me Hurricane "--------".

Reminders of prior occurences do not necessarily lead to conclusions; merely references

Right, but that was when they thought Chris wouldn't even be as strong as it is now. If it is stronger, it may not be influenced as much by the ridge, correct?

AIRCRAFT...THE MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS IN CHRIS HAVE INCREASED TO
NEAR 60 MPH. A SPECIAL ADVISORY WILL BE RELEASED SHORTLY...
PRIMARILY TO MODIFY THE INITIAL AND FORECAST INTENSITY. NO CHANGES

would like to know also, that is usually the rule of thumb but I have heard differently with Chris.

Center temp up to 30C that is bad news!!!!!!!!

It went from 25C to 30C in 90 minutes and the griadient is much higher

Can anyone talk about the northerly vs. westerly airflow? It seems to be key to the direction of the storm.
