Gas is not going to $5 a gallon. Last year, people were predicting the same, never happened. :D

Agreed, Ron:

They are not going to gouge so blantantly. More likely to be out of gas than have a $5 price tag on it.

Good to see you, Ron. We never did pull together our SW FL brunch/lunch. I guess this weekend is out for everyone??? :D

I hate the anticipation. Poor Keys will see it but then what? I am SURE it's not a TX hit because that would be too unfair! That would ruin my last week of summer vacation! So I KNOW it will not be here...although south TX to mid TX would be good because it would train up into northern tx where they are bone dry. So I vote for all that empty coastal area north of corpus....do you think Chris will listen? hmm what could I use as a bribe?

That lasted a day or two. It wasn't widespread.

Not in the cone right now...or am I? But yes we do have a plan for leaving and what to do after a storm. And also the preparation before a storm.

Picked up another case of bottled water to add to our stockpile while at Walmart today buying school supplies. Still have Spaghetti O rations left from Rita. Just not sure what I'll do with the 25 boxes of popsicles in the deep freeze if Chris ends up in our neck of the woods.....
