Until recon is in there, we don't know for a fact that this is happening...

Ehh I think its pretty apparent....IR and radar support it (look at how the storm looks on a radar loops, kind of odd).

the 00z NAM takes the old track of the NHC going north of cuba and flirting with the keys. http://www.nco.ncep.noaa.gov/pmb/nwprod ... _084.shtml

All I know is the LLC looks very well defined. Will not be hard to get going again IMO. Can't wait to see where this is in the morning.cheezyWXguy wrote:You sure did change your miind quick.
Anyway, telling by the fact that theres a band on the MLC in the convection bending the wrong way, I think Im seeing the LLC absorb the convection from the MLC

I would not do that until I see Chris dead.
I'm looking at the loops of Chris and I have never seen a tropical cyclone just go due south like that, at least it looks like that. Of course TC's go south every once in a while but Chris is doing it much more then I have seen. I don't know what exactly is going on so I'm just going to leave it alone for now.

The tutt caught it in its shearing it...If it doe's not stop moving west-southwest it may hit Hati/Dr. If it doe's it it has very little chance. Also the system is not picking up speed to the west which is why the tutt caught it. Its still worth watching...But I'm going to take a look at the possible two other systems. My forecast track is still north of Hati and Cuba. But I'm just not impressed with this system...I just can't stop watching this system.

It is plain to see. There is no doubt. The LLC has moved from under the convection. here it is.only the convection going south. http://www.ssd.noaa.gov/goes/flt/t1/loop-ir2.html

Its kind of acting like a weaker Debby 2000...Yes I forecast this to go north of Hati But that landmass can drag the cyclone into it. I think this could still become a hurricane once in the gulf.
