The above post is just my OPINION. Just because I think this hurricane is not going to hit the Eastern Part of the US, please continue to listen to your local weather person as I am just a tall women, sitting near on the beach, watching the seagulls. Hence my opinion doesn't matter.

By looking at the dates on the posts, I think you are talking about 5 am today and they are talking about it going up 6 yesterday. :?:

I think a lot depends on what happens today and tonight with Chris. If he continues moving toward the WNW and hangs on it might be a different ball game. My personal opinion. If he continues to weaken and moves back toward the W it will be good news for the US Gulf Coast. I think it is a wait and see game. Could be a hurricane if things pin out or he might now make it. Hard to tell.
