I tryed to post a reply but my computer erased it. It has to do with how deep the system is...Remember the Atmosphere is more then one layer its many. You get a pretty west to east area of high pressure called the Azores/Bermuda high right now. Which is why Chris is moving westward most likely into the gulf. Then you get troughs/shortwaves moving on the northern side of these ridges which opens up weakness. Which systems can move northward. A good part of this season there was a weakness over the east coast...In there is likely to be one again. So system can trend into that weakness. Also the tutt forms a weakness over the central Atlatnic so a stronger system can be pulled north. Is that your quastion?

Ya bocadad, take it easy. Hes new here, also you cant use poor grammer against him, sure its annoying at times but you cant hold him against it in this case, kinda cheap if you ask me. hes probably used to AIM or whatever other instant messaging kinda things out there
