I actually think they'll keep Chris for at least one more advisory just to be on the safe side and to make sure the LLC is a goner, then in the end of season confirmation they may well downgrade it to a TW.

(ps, mind you just saw that vortex, LLC does look to be still there then but its mighty weak, wouldn't take much to kill it off now, seems like that mass of convection has helped to keep Chris alive, i wonder whether there will be any TS force winds in that convective mass??)

Interesting that the Vortex is under the convection according to the fix of VDM.

Thanks for your replies. 8-)

They just mention this in case anyone has any loose papers in their backyard or perhaps a bird feeder hanging up that might sway a bit in the wind.

Oh yeah, that is a good idea. You don't want to get smacked with any loose papers. You could get a nasty paper cut.

Does look like Chris stil lhas a weak LLC, very intresting to see this system fight on and there do appear to be some small lumps of convection on its western side still.

J.B. Says that this will stay just north of cuba... and he thinks it will become a hurricane in the Gulf and slam into Mexico well south of Brownsville.

He mentioned that there is a time tonight that this could intensify and that SFL needs to watch out...

For whatever its worth... there is his thoughts... ;)
