Games Forum Problem

Why is it that only administrators can post topics in the games forum?

I'm not entirely sure, I know that they did a big clean out of the forum a couple of weeks ago to try and improve the quality of the games (which was good; the quality was lacking quite a bit IMHO) and several of the word games were removed. I was told that they were only moved and an announcement would be made as to what was happening, but nothing ever occured.

Might have to do with the fact that the peak of Hurricane season is approaching

We indeed did a big clean out for exactly the reasons listed above. There may be some flash games added if Chad can find the time to deal with it. Also being considered with this is how much load it will cause on the server. We had to totally shut it down(games forum) for a while last year during the peak of season. Since this is a Weather site and not a games site, being sure the weather topics are up and running will always take priority over the games.
