hmmmmm, this is interesting - anytime a surface low develops it should be watched. Does have a decent spin to it.

Thundering like crazy here, and storms on the edge of the bay...but otherwise sunny/partly cloudy. Guess our fishing/wakeboarding trip is canceled. :(

Ya, I've been watching it. I think what was our surface low last night moved inland. It looks like it is near Lake Charles and maybe moving back toward the Gulf.

We havent gotten anything here yet today... I did hear the weather radio go off sometime this morning.... Nice and sunny here though and sitting at 91.4 ....

That inland surface low (I think surface) centered right on the mid LA coast has taken on the look of a tropical system.

Well I'm in southeast Houston and is caught in some training rain bands moving from East to West. It's really pooring out here.

Looks like two areas of rotation on the visibles, one inland NW of Lafayette and another offshore south of Lake Charles.

yep, surface low looks to me inland however looks to be a mid level swirl offshore with a blob of convection.

Had very heavy tropical-type rain yesterday evening with severe lightning and gusty winds. Not a drop today - partly cloudy with some sun currently. Clouds seem to be moving from the southeast to the northwest or west.
