why more east coast storms???

why more east coast storms???

I love you all so much and if you answer my question things will e cool and here is the question Why is many people agreeing on storms moving up the east coast for this future 2006 atlantic hurricane season???,like what data our there using??? because I know that Jeff masters,Dr.Bill Gray and Accuweather our all forecasting more east coast hurricanes than the gulf coast why is that and what data our there using and what information did they get the data from if people know what I mean please explain and this will be the last of all threads I make if someone answers my question in the right way

It is really hard to predict long term trends. Day to day events can determine a local storm track. Hope this helps.

I think with the ridge right now that gulf systems are also likely...But the trough off the east coast should help to move storms into it...Which could bring storms up the east coast.

Upper air pattern sure favors the East Coast late August and September.

okay thanks about the el nino but please answer my thread or post WHY our most people agreeing on more east coast storms like Dr.Bill Gray and them??? I agree that the gulf of mexico is going to get hit instead of the east coast though and I forecasted that too.

you need to stop with the "hello" messages... people are not going to wait on your posts to answer.... someone will answer your question when they get to it....

in this link, map, you see the dip in the patteren over the east coast... that will be a persistant feature that will if the timing is correct, bring the storms up the coast....

thankyou so much now I know more east coast storms our coming for this 2006 hurricane season based on the most accurate data or links or maps you guys have so I should start preparing correct??? because I live along the east coast in the norfolk va area right by the water too.
