There was another break-up song I couldn't stand:

"You're Beautiful" by James Blunt

My mom loved the song but hated the video.

BUMP

I honestly cannot understand why the worst song of the decade is gonna likely be the #1 song of 2006. Yeah, ya guessed, SexyBack. Is this the level of talent we're stuck with today? Not only is it stupid and infuriatingly repetitive, Justin shows how talented he is; he DIDN'T even produce the beat!

That and London Bridge by Fergie.

I actually like a fair amount of rap, but seriously, what happened to GOOD music?

Actually, I think London Bridge may be even worse than Sexy Back.

The Armed Forces really should start using those two songs to get Osama to come out of his cave. If we just blasted those songs from the sky, he'd kill himself.

Don't get me wrong, the competition between the two was close. But SexyBack has been overplayed for far too long. I actually haven't heard London Bridge in the last couple weeks. Therefore, SexyBack took the cake for worst of the year, heck decade.

However, there is also that new song, Fergalicious.......*GAG!*

I'd be specific if I could, but its really just a waste of time to name songs. I hate almost all thumping, obscenity laced rap.

Stooge -- I agree on the vonage song..man that gets under my skin, bUt I find myself doo doo, doo doo dooing to it

Yeah, "SexyBack" seems to be the most annoyed and overplayed on my list. And you know the biggest laugh? BET was playing more of Justin than Fergie.

One of the local bus drivers here couldn't stand Justin Timberlake as well. They said that he's a Michael Jackson wannabe.

A lot of good choices on here for lousiest and most irritating songs ...

Some of my "most irritating songs" would have to include ...
(especially when at any karaoke show will be done at least once a night)

"Why don't we get drunk and screw?"
"Love-Shack"
"Paradise By the Dashboard Lights" - fine at first until it was constantly done (and 95% butchered by less than stellar performers  )

"London Bridge" has by far got to be the most irritating song I've heard in a long time. I heard that song at work, and I literally was unable to eat the rest of the night --- literally made my stomach churn

"The Rodeo Song"

Don't ask me who made it, it's on a 45 the hubby has and let's just say it's not for people under the age of 21!
