Blowup near 35 to 40 west

Any possible formation from the convection south of 10 degrees along the itcz ?

GFS seems to depict a low in this area.

Not really the same area , The TWD mentions awave near 46 west , I am looking at the convection back near 38 west.

Actually you are right and I apologize. I think my eyes are failing me. But, this is associated with the ITCZ and not a wave.

Not sure if we can see development with the Convection associated with ITCZ alone.

This area seems to be a little more convective today. Good upper level divergence and "some" low level convergence going on according to the CIMSS graphics.

SCATTERED MODERATE/ISOLATED STRONG CONVECTION IS WITHIN 150 NM N
OF THE AXIS FROM 35W-40W AND FROM 50W-55W. CLUSTERS OF SIMILAR
CONVECTION ARE WITHIN 150/180 NM OF THE AXIS E OF 20W TO THE
COAST OF AFRICA AND WITHIN 180 NM S OF THE AXIS FROM 37W-42W.
