I dont think that is the case since those involve very high altitude aircraft

I wonder if it is as simple as the plain coming back from St Croix (if so, maybe they could fly a quick pass through our disturbance in the Bahamas)

Well, you know generally the WXWXA are training missions, however, the coords do suggest that it's the return flight from St. Croix, as they are flying NW and the first ob is over PR and this one is over the SE Bahamas, though they don't quite appear to be heading north enough to make a quick flight through 93.

they really should just make a very quick pass through the system. That would not be unprecedented (in fact, its how TD 4 was discovered in 2000, recon was deploying to St Croix for another system and on their way, found a TD)
