Predicting future hurricanes is like putting a pot of water on the stove top and trying to predict were the first big bubble is going to come up when the water starts to boil. You can get real scientific about it. You can do a study of the heat source. You can do a study of the thickness of the bottom of the pot. You can study the consistency of the quality of the metal alloy in the pot. You can study the air flow around the pot. You can study many other influences on the process of boiling water.
All of this study will improve your chances of correctly guessing where that first big bubble will come up, But it's anybody's guess!

Threads are usually locked for a reason.
I've been thinking the same thing. The whole purpose of a message board is for people to exchange information and participate in a discussion. It's fun to see how a topic can change and grow as various people add their thoughts.
I hope the mods stop locking these threads and allow the discussions to continue.
Just my two cents.
