What makes you the happiest?
I would say when my husband and/or kids does something unexpectedly for me. Like my daughter spontaneously cleaning her room (yeah right and that happens sooooo often ) or my husband cleaning the kitchen (though he has yet to realize the stove needs wiped down too ) or my son comes over just to visit (and not expect a meal )

Seeing church friends on Sunday in S.S. and sharing a laugh together with them every now and then 
(hoping we aren't disturbing a class "next door"). 
We also have a class activity outing once about every month.
Also, when my folks and I greet congregation members and visitors on the 2nd Sunday each month before the early service at church starts.

I saw this thread and realized what makes me the happiest is what makes our dog the happiest! LOL When we're all home again. Having a daughter in college, that presents a challenge sometimes. It is rare when we're all home together again. But I cherish those times. They end again next Tuesday - 
. But I'll handle the separation better this time, since she'll be a Sophomore. But seriously, the dog only chews her bones when we're all home. One by one we come in and when the last one is home, she plops down with a huge sigh and a good chew. Cute.
Family - I'm so grateful to have one. When 23 years ago I didn't think I'd be this happy! Or have a chance to be a mom (newly divorced).
