very well could be. It doesn't look quite as far fetched now as it did earlier and every day tht goes by without a storm brings the potential of a dead season that much closer to reality. Who knows, 5 years from now we could be saying "Remember 2006, the year of the SAL and shear, where there hardly any tropical activity"? This season might be a record season, but the opposite of the record season we had last year. This could turn out to be one of those years that we never see again for another 20 years...

could happen...

Can you imagine the season ending with 0 hurricanes and more than that a well below average season?

It's going to get active once I start school.

Isn't that the truth!. I start a job with an investment company on September 11th, but right now I've had alot of time to track storms, that time will be sharly diminished once I start a new job on September 11th....So I think that's why I'm so impatient...

I'm not quite as fanatic as a tornado chaser though...

Tornado chasing is fun! :) I tend to like tracking severe weather more, but that usually coincides with the busiest time of the school year (standarized tests, finals, projects, and starting this year, AP tests).
