Water temp in the NW caribbean is 91.8F (even with the light iwnds I have never seen this in that area)

Dunno...trend looks suspicious to me...I suspect the sea temp sensor may be off.

Might be the sun heated water at the very surface being driven down underneath the buoy where the sensor is. I remember seeing another buoy doing the same thing but only when the wind was coming from a certain direction. Maybe one side of the buoy lifts when it reaches the end of its anchor chain or something.

There have to be more exciting explanations than that ...
An underwater volcano, maybe. Or alien spacecraft operating in the vicinity.
