1997 Cyclone Katrina had a strange track, IIRC.

EDIT: I just checked it, and it occured in 1998. This is the track:

I can't remember the name, but, in 85 or 86 I was in the keys when one came through as a TS and intensified to a strong one. I remember it scaring everyone on the Gulf from Texas to Tampa. I think it did a couple loops.
