The Path To 9/11 - made for TV movie
(Edited title to make it clear this isn't a political post)
http://abc.go.com/specials/pathto911.html
This strikes me as odd -- they want to air this on September 10th and 11th. From what I've read on the message boards at IMDb.com, it's a well-made TV docudrama, but today was the first I'd heard about it when I saw the previews with Harvey Keitel and Amy Madigan on ABC.
I'm just not sure what to think about them airing it on the anniversary. It makes me uneasy, but then again, we'll be inundated with anniversary specials making the 5th year since 9/11/01, so why should ABC be any different.
I'm just not sure if I'll watch or not.

I'll be observing "I hate Islamic terrorists" month also this month...and last month...and next month...and....
And AFLAC is the recipient of a lifeetime supply of Allahu Ak-Bars; the only candy that proclaims your faith with every bite!
She will be enjoying chocolate-date, raisin-date-nut, and (my favorite), the "Aisha" bar (pristine white chocolate with a cherry center).

Without trying to get overly political, this movie is coming under fire from some former Clinton officials.

It is on the same day here so it will be on here first. Two hours and 40 minutes for the first part, and 2 hours and 30 minutes for the second (Without adverts as its on the BBC) so this is a major programme.
Just had a documentary on the actual attacks talking to people who escaped, amazing to see how people managed to dig their way out of stuck lifts.

Under fire, ABC mulls yanking mini
By WILLIAM TRIPLETT
"The Path to 9/11" is looking a lot like "The Reagans, Part II."
Bill Clinton loyalists are demanding wholesale changes to the upcoming miniseries -- and while ABC is making some snips, the alterations, insiders say, may not please the Dems.
But a bombshell decision may happen anyway: Sources close to the project say the network, which has been in a media maelstrom over the pic, is mulling the idea of yanking the mini altogether.
