Will,the system is very far away from the East Coast, (4,000 miles) that is very early to say for sure.But the indications are that it wont threat the Western Hemisphere land areas maybe an exception the island of Bermuda.

so you are saying cycloneye that the indications are that it will NOT effect the east coast but it MIGHT effect bermuda??

Im surprised at the fact the models arent that spread out. Here we are discussing the possibility that TD 4 might take a more westward track and yet all of the models are set on recurving this storm early.
I still think a track more to the left is likely...

cycloneye, can you show me a Infrared colorfull picture of tropical depression four??and is tropical depression four taking a westnorthwesterly track as of now instead of northwest??please explain okay, thankyou

that infrared has been old for 2 or 3 hours now. Hasnt updated latly.

based on that visible satelite imagery of tropical depression four, is it heading westnorthwestward as of now or has it changed to northwestward??lets hope its on a more westwardnorthwestward course

The convection doesn't look all that impressive on infrared imagery on NRL. Also I think that brightness in the cloud tops is more due to the reflection of the sun angle at the end of day.
