Look buddy....if you want a hurricane to hit you, then YOU can hope it's more on a west northwestward course. Keep "let's" out of this.

Convection isn't that great... but it has the organization of a TS.

I think it's probably a 35kt to 40kt TS since this morning. But since it really hasn't gotten much better organized since then, it will probably not be upgraded at 5pm.

we dont want this depression coming toward land.

We want it to stay out to sea

The United States does not need another destructive hurricane season

we do not need $6 dollar per gallon gas prices

Keep fishing TD 4, keep on fishing

If it is not a TS, it is oh so close. Stacking was an issue earlier, see how that has evolved, this will propably be key at 5:00

A depression hitting land would not cause $6/gal gas, Mr. Ortt. A depression hitting land would in fact help the parched areas of the south.

I believe that Derek was talking about the future strength of what is now called TD-4. If it crosses the ocean and hits the U.S., it could very well be a major hurricane then.

I just can't see them NOT upgrading this at 5. We'll know in as little as 10 minutes.
