Good point. We can pretend it is a TS, but officially it is still TD4 until the NHC update.

It took me a few minutes to get the right voice in there so you could actually understand the words...that was like the only voice where you could hear every word...

Ok...I say thank you to you guys :D Now back to our little system, I do agree it looks good, it actually looks similar to Isabel, or at least earlier, with the outflow, but alot weaker...

I went with the model initialization because that produce is issued as close to synoptic time as possible. If NHC keeps it as TD 4, a correction will quickly be issued.

That is why the designation DOES NOT appear on the homepage or the link to s2k was not given with this forecast

It would appear that we have TS Debby out there. All the evidence points to that fact. OF course, the NHC has the final word in about 15-30 minutes. In any case, forecast confidence remains good. This one's for the fish. Virtually no chance it will affect the east Caribbean or the U.S. We can all be thankful for that, right?

Here's a color shot with 1 deg. lat/lon lines. Looks like 14.9N/18.4W or so.

She's still got plenty of room to head out to sea.

Agreed. I want it to be Debby so we'll have another name off the list. :P
