I'm thinking a path similar to, maybe slightly north of, that of Emily.

I would be watching this VERY CLOSELY in the W Caribbean. This has some real potential. Seems close to a TD now based upon visible imagery I am seeing

You thinking what CMC sees or further east? Im thinking there is a Major Can in the making here...

Maybe they figure the public isn't as smart as you? I dunno. I could see a TCFA for 97L or 92C but the others are "where's the storm?" at least at first glance. Well, we'll know if the Wunderground TC graphic lights up like a switchboard in the next few hours.

Sounds like this may be the first one that we will REALLY have to watch and follow.

My attention went from Debby to this wave about 2 days ago

That wouldn't be good I have a time share just south of Cancun. It was wrecked by Emily, reopened, only to be wrecked again by Wilma. On the other hand that would be great news for us on the west coast of Florida.

I dont think we can get head of ourselves, its far from even getting a name. Just a few hours ago, Debby was predicted to become a cane, now its a shell of her former self, we need something to hang around for a day or so.

That "look" is getting better and better every 30 minutes. I don't think it's far from becoming a TD. I'm agreeing with you Brent.....if this continues, Ernesto by tomorrow evening.

Ernesto is one of my top candidates for the big one of the year actually. Despite the history of this name (every time it's been used it was a weak TS fish), that name really has the sound to it, in my opinion.

I follow your posts closely, and you're very conservative, so when I read this post of yours, my stomach drops out.

That's the run from 00Z last night. There hasn't been a GFDL run for this Invest since.

Actually there was a run at 06Z. But, haven't seen one since after that.

Debby is not, and never was supposed to be, in a position for rapid intensification. While I still think Debby will become a hurricane, such is at least 48-72 hours away and it is several days from peaking. This blob, on the other hands, has a good chance at a sudden intensification.
