Survivor 13/Cook Islands/Premieres Sept. 14
Here's a new Survivor 13/Cook Islands topic, since the old one was 12 pages long. And it was mostly all about Panama/Exile Island.
Also, since CBS hasn't updated their Survivor page to include Cook Islands yet, I'll add a recent article Brent posted about for more info. Discuss away.....

"What do you mean the tribe has spoken?!" The publisher of RealityBlurred.com tells the New York Post that "it's pretty much confirmed" that the new edition of CBS' Survivor will pit segregated teams of whites, African-Americans, Asians and Hispanics against each other. (Think The Warriors meets Gilligan's Island.) CBS has no comment on the rumblings, but an announcement regarding the new season's twist will be made on Wednesday's The Early Show. My question: When did Mel Gibson become an executive producer of Survivor?
I don't like that idea too much, but it's not confirmed yet.

That just doesn't seem right to me. I don't think they could pull that off without major backlash from everyone. I think it would be interesting, but in reality I don't think that would ever happen. But I guess you never know.

Survivor Edmonton begins September 2009.

They've never had one in a non-tropical climate before. I wish they would... it would change the game completely.
They did have the Africa one. And I did not like that one at all.
Oh yeah... that one was different because they were not near a beach.

Here's another Survivor article, from CNN this time:
http://www.cnn.com/2006/SHOWBIZ/TV/08/2 ... index.html
They've already separated the groups into gender/age, now this but I have to ask what next? Fat/thin, dumb/smart, haircolor (dumb blondes against the rest or the grey's? LOL), US region (North/South, East Coast/West Coast)?
And finally, I wish for just once they would choose a different climate. So I agree on that point. Perhaps try Alaska and air it during our bleak winter months?

THIS, I'd watch.
Cabin Fever at its worst! I'd watch too Bill. This could be interesting.......ah, but there wouldn't be an bikini's! And who would go nude in Fargo, in the dead of winter (it seems someone is always trying to one-up Richard Hatch now).
