SOUTHWESTERN BEADLE COUNTY...
AT 706 PM CDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUED TO INDICATE A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A TORNADO. THIS TORNADO WAS
LOCATED 5 MILES NORTH OF VIRGIL...OR ABOUT 9 MILES WEST OF HURON...
MOVING EAST AT 30 MPH.
THE TORNADO WILL BE NEAR...
HURON AROUND 720 PM CDT...
THIS TORNADO IS HEADED FOR THE SOUTH SIDE OF HURON. THIS IS AN
EXTREMELY DANGEROUS AND LIFE THREATENING SITUATION. TAKE COVER NOW.

that cell north of rochester is NASTY..a classic hook echo with echo free region in the hook and a decent couplet. these supercells have turned into right movers within the last 20-30 minutes and this has me on edge since, if the trend continues, they'll be down here in a few hours. the warm front is still right on top of madison, and though tornadic indices aren't quite as high here as they are in southern MN, this has me worried.
best guess is that cell mergers will occur and a derecho will develop out of all this overnight. if any of these cells on the warm front remain discrete, tornadoes are obviously likely.
i gotta get out of here for a bit - have been staring at this screen for far too long.

Any coverage out of that area?
I think this will be an all-nighter. Nighttime tornadoes are especially dangerous.
