Just got back in . . . started up GR2AE before I left out of MPX and man am I glad I did! The 23:02Z scan showed a MONSTER hook in LeSueur county, and the tornado reports are just covering the screen! And I still see two areas with decent SRV signatures . . . going to be a fun night, no doubt.
I am however going to slap the SPC for not going PDS with these watches . . .

We haven't got to PDS or HIGH levels yet though...

Looks like just about everything has decayed with the exception of the MN sups, which have gone linear in one part and have formed somewhat of a bow echo around La Crosse as of now. I'd say our tornado threat is all done for this one. I'm turning my radar back off for now, but these files definately get archived.

Besides last year's Aug. 18th southern Wisconsin tornado outbreak, probably. There is EXTENSIVE damage in the St. Peter-Cleveland area. Local news was talking only about the storms during their 10 oclock broadcast. Several homes COMPLETELY leveled, but then again not sure how well built the homes were to begin with. Tornado damage path in that area reached 1 mile wide and the tornado lasted for 15 miles. Probably one of the worst tornado outbreaks for Minnesota since 1998. I would have to say that the tornadoes in Cleveland, MN may be an F-4, based on the look of the damage during the new broadcast, but like i said who knows how well built those homes were. Most of the tornadoes i would say had to be atleast an F-1, more likely atleast an F-2. I know A LOT of people who were on these storms and some the tornadoes at their worst. Will continue to update in the morning when we may get preliminary damage assessments and when we can really see what these storms did.

it's a touchy subject, i am very emotional because i had to work today, but if i didn't have to work i would've been out and most likely seen a tornado.
