Wow. Louisiana 60% I am glad these are only amateur guesses. I am hoping the shear just tears it apart. It is the last thing we need.

LMAO. It would be the prophetic ending. The only positive about another hit on the city or Gulf Coast is that everything is still pretty much destroyed anyway (not that we couldn't use a break down here...)

Not true. Was just in lower Plaquemines today and those poor people are just getting back on their feet. New houses... lots of new manufactured homes, etc... It's the last thing they need. I know you're tongue in cheek there Steve.

Noway not this time. I've been watching the weather and reading the board. I don't see anything to move it east and polward towards Florida.

Half yeah and not. If it would be next year when many people have substantially completed their homes (vs. bulldozing still taking place), the dollar loss would be more real. A hit now would be more of a mental and emotional blow. Either way, we could use a break. If that means I gotta sweat a 3 day vacation in Canyon Country, so be it. Just hit somebody else. :D

NOT AN OFFICIAL FORECAST....JUST THROWING DARTS FOR THIS THREAD!

Not to be an alarmist, but soon to be Ernesto will be the Katrina of 2006...

Ernesto...a serious Cat 3/4, striking between Houston and Pensacola, just in time for Labor Day weekend.

Way too much hot fuel ahead of him, and with a possible double ventilation setup down the road, this storm will keep everyone up at night starting early next week.

hope I am wrong, but Mother Nature has been playing chicken with us this year and this may be the biggie.

Let's hope it stays away from La and Miss. I can't do a trip right now. My daughter was in a bad weck and broke both angles and she has pins and screws in them. I myself is in a cast for 12 week. So No way I can go down to clean up the farm. Maybe it will just die. I don't wish this on any one on the gulf coast.

If I HAD to guess. If it survives the sheer ahead of it. Then anywhere from Texas City to Intercoastal City.
