Already a west wind?

Where did this thing come from? And what implications, if any, could it have on TD5's track?

If this thing got going, it would create a weakness in the ridge that right now looks like it would take TD #5 south of Cuba...

Didnt Bonnie have something to do with charleys track in 04? I know the main steering was to do with a trough in the east and a Front but could this low if it develops change #5 track to the right? Fish maybe?

Dennis is great - he is so animated and into what he does. He looks like he is having fun and not working.

He is good. :D

Thought so. He is an excellent forecaster! I'm curious to hear what his thoughts may be on this system.

He said last night that it was too early to tell. With the low of the GA coast this may change things. I will post what he says tonight.

I grew up in Palm Harbor right down the road. I know all the METS there growing up including Roy Leep - one of the best...

So this is why I feel like I should have built an ark? Charleston has been poured on for 2 days straight.
This isn't anything like Gaston that formed quickly and then slammed into us is it? We are just looking at more rain. Right?

Radar out of charleston shows a distinct low pressure circulation. I had just noticed that myself before I came over here to post about it!

We got 6.5 inches of rain yesterday, and another good bit today. It does feel very tropical. HEAVY rain.
