Sun at last and Thunderstorms!

#1 Postby Stephanie » Sat Jun 14, 2003 9:35 pm

It looks like we're finally getting out of our 7 week pattern of rain every weekend. Today was HHH, but it was wonderful never the less just to be able to get outside and enjoy it! Tomorrow is supposed to more of the same.

The last three evenings we've had thunderstorms. Thursday's was the worst - wind, torrential rain, thunder and alot of lightning. Last night storms started at around 8:30, but they were not as severe. This afternoon, they started at around 5:00 pm. It seemed as if it was developing over us. We're at over 5 inches of rain for the month already!

Steph, we're stuck in our usual late spring/early summer pattern
of "chance of thunderstorms", every afternoon!
