Well, as I type this, it's 103 degrees outside ... our 29th day this summer of 100 degrees or hotter.

This is really getting ridiculous.

At this hour, it's now 100*F. Just as predicted, it was day #41. And just to add more insult to injury; a RED FLAG WARNING is in effect for the Western half of North Texas including...yep, you've said it, Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex. That and the Heat Advisory will expire this evening.

We hit 101 earlier this afternoon ... Day 30 of 100 degrees or more this summer.

Oh, did I say that the Camp Mabry reporting station in central Austin is on par for recording the warmest August EVER on record?!

It got to 104 yesterday here. The odd thing is - Austin is up there for hottest August ever - without breaking any daily heat records - tied one day - but set new rocords, no. It's just the relentless day after day of 100+

My sister called from downtown Dallas to say it was pouring down rain!!!

We're at 32 days this summer of 100 degrees or warmer.

Yup, today we only hit 95 degrees before the clouds and rain came ... so it looks like at least a few days below 100. Thank God!

My area had 41 days of 100*F weather before the cold front swept through. Thank goodness the streak has come to an end.

Mid eighties next two days, then more snow is forecast to fall in the mountains around here this weekend.

Snow level is down to 5000' over the next two days in our area, so fall is definitely getting close here. Major warm up expected by the weekend though with temps. pushing 90F.
