Start to get your preps in order, if ya need extra supplies buy them today because if ya wait till mid week. their may not be much left.

Remain calm but vigilant and just keep watching this thing..

Luckily because I've been slowly trying to stock up for bird flu (I know, laugh it up everyone) before that threat happens, my hurricane supplies are super hefty. I can "camp out" for months.

TreasureIslandFLGal, If Ernesto follows the project path(or something close to that), I think you might be "camping out" in the GA/NC mountains . Treasure Island will sure take a beating. Lets hope not. Stay safe, prepare & review your plans and lets hope for the best.

Hey folks, I'm at the epicenter so to speak of the new NHC forecast track. We live right on the coast on a west facing canal about 40 miles north of Clearwater. I'm now thankful that I installed shutters in June but that won't help if we get a large storm surge. I now have that sickening feelin that probaby most residents had prior to Dennis, Ivan, & Katrina. Is our time finally up for the central FL coast? Latest track is a worst-case nightmare for me and the Tampa Bay area - a CAT 3 storm just coming in north of the bay will pile 10-15 feet of water into Tampa Bay shoreline flooding a large swath of a densely populated area - Is Ernesto Tampa's Katrina??? Let's pray it isn't.
