Send the ACLU a Christmas Card

#1 Postby azsnowman » Tue Aug 29, 2006 8:19 am

ROFLMAO!!!

Thanks Karan, I LOVED this SO much I'm posting it HERE...come on folks, let's BLAST the ACLU with Christmas Cards  8-)

Wanna have some fun this CHRISTMAS? Send the ACLU a CHRISTMAS CARD! Add them to your Christmas card list now.

As they are working so very hard to get rid of the CHRISTMAS part of this holiday, we should all send them a nice, CHRISTIAN, card to brighten up their dark, sad, little world.

Make sure it says "Merry Christmas" on it.

Here's the Address, just don't be rude or crude.

ACLU

125 Broad Street

18th Floor

New York, NY 10004

Two tons of Christmas cards would freeze their operations because they wouldn't know if any were regular mail containing contributions.. So spend 39 cents and tell the ACLU to leave Christmas alone. Also tell them that there is no such thing as a Holiday Tree. . . . It's a Christmas Tree even in the fields!!

The ACLU absolutely supports your right to attempt to sabotage their organization through the expression of free speech.

The ACLU is an organization based on defending the constitution. They are not a group of atheists hell bent on eradicating the Christian religion. I have no idea where this idea that Christians are the prosecuted group in America began.

Completely wrong. Communists and Fascists don't believe in the constitution. But the constitution believes in their right as citizens of the US to have an opinion, and to actually wish its destruction. How then can people who support freedom of speech, constitutionalism, be called CommuNazis Lovers. Ignoring that communists and nazis are the least close of friends.

A simple google search will provide you with multiple sources.

The ACLU is probably the biggest friend the church has in America. They've spent millions protecting freedom of religion in this country. Unlike many, they don't cherrypick the parts of the Constitution that they like. They work to defend all of it.

Whether some people like it or not, the government spending tax dollars to promote Christmas is illegal. The ACLU fights equally to assure that Jewish and Muslim holidays aren't endorsed by any governments either.

One day your government might try to take your land to build a Wal-Mart. It might request your medical records. It might watch you without your consent. Guess who you might just want to call.

Believe it. Despite the one-liners to the contrary, the ACLU helps everyone who is having their constitutionally guaranteed rights infringed upon.

They even stepped up to defend Rush Limbaugh when the Palm Beach County DA tried to seize his medical records. A fact that you won't ever hear on his show, sadly.

They'll still get a Christmas card or two from me just to let them know that Christ is born. I'll also send them some thank you cards to thank them, oh yes, what a great job they did of taking prayer out of our schools.

When did they take prayer out of (I presume you mean public) schools? Please name one example of a public school in America in which it's illegal to pray.
