After the rain, it has cooled off nicely here. Highs have been in the upper 70s yesterday and today.

Another round of rain is in store for the North Texas area. According to the NWS, we'll have a 50% chance of rain and thunderstorms through Labor Day with highs in the loer to mid 80s and lows in the 60s. Nice for a change.

We will more than likely not get any rain this holiday weekend. But our temps are in the 70s. I am loving it.

A lot better than triple-digit heat.

We got a band of showers and thunderstorms to the north and west of the DFW area. There's no way the rain is gonna pass up my hometown.

I've recently checked the DFW Climate summary, and the rain totals for today as of this hour is .69 inches, and it's still raining...and probably will be for a while.

Just yesterday, some thunderstorms blew through the N. TX area. While some area over .50 in., DFW Int'l recorded .15 inches in the last 24 hours.
