^ Look at IR and u can see the rotation, but basically I think the new center is near Everglades City.

Buy yes, Ernesto is getting organized FAST....
Here, go to the GHCC GOES and run a 30 frame IR and watch how quick he came together.

No, I was guessing you meant near Naples.

That is where I seen it going north. The Everglades well help this stay together.

I am flabergasted.

How on Earth is Ernesto deepening while over land. I quit.

Well it is all wet land there. And as far as track it is right on NHC track. all flat and nothing there but a few home here and there.

The Everglades don't do much to tropical storms.. in fact I have seen a couple deepen (like this one). It is windy as heck here this morning.

Is the purple line the forecast track?

Wow the new center is strong, look at Miami's radar where the "Everglades City" marker is.

To me, the center appears to be just west of that new blow-up.

I see a couple of interesting things about Ernesto and its future and I want pro mets to confirm....

The trough, will it provide QG enhancement ala Charley and Wilma, thus further helping Ernesto to stay intact over FL?

Its track, the trough is approaching fast, and shouldn't Ernesto beging to move NNE soon?

According to our Met here in JAX we probably won't see that much rain. He said most of the feeder bands will be off shore. He said we may see some wind gusts up to 35 mph.

If you look at this radar you can see a NNE turn in the last few frames

If I'm looking at the correct center on that radar it looks as though ernesto is barely moving.
