From looking at radar images and surface obs I believe the center at 6pm is about 20 miles SSW of Melbourne. Moving north or just east of due north at a good clip. It should come offshore somewhere between Melbourne and Titusville in about 2 to 4 hours from now. Part of the circulation is already over water as it appears to be a somewhat elongated from NW to SE

Hhmm, well you all see that this storm is actually getting stronger now, much more than before, and I guess I am just a little confused here. Many of the pro mets and models are bringing this storm into SC anywhere between Charleston and NC border(Myrtle area) as a weak tropic depression. The local mets here have basically said, CANCEL, not in so many words but....yet at the same time have reporters up and down the beach. In the mean time, The head of tourism is screaming, COME ON IN FOLKS, ALL TOURISTS WELCOME.
Now, I get confused here, but if the storm hits below Myrtle, where do the worst winds hit?? And how possible is it that this will ramp back up to a TS or Hurricane level?? How much will the gulf stream play into this whole entire thing? And if this is the case, what is the effect of landfall predictions?
Excuse me if I am sounding a bit ignorant here, I think I lost my mind and just can't seem to find it.

Wow, did you ever read his question wrong! What is WITH some people's attitudes, totally uncalled for!
I was kind of joking my self. I don't know why some people have such a short fuse on this board.

Hey...I have a question for the mets...I've been hearing the center is east of the track currently and will possibly move offshore in a few hours...isnt that ahead of schedule? If so, what could it bring down the road in terms of track and strength?

Yeah, you could say he's already made his 3rd US landfall...........on the east "coast" of Lake Okeechobee.

Seriously, he's going to be in the water again real soon obviously.........hoping for the Carolina's sake he resists any rapid intensification. Good luck up there!
