New folder suggestion - Severe Weather

#1 Postby CrazyC83 » Wed Aug 30, 2006 11:05 pm

I suggest that, for severe weather (tornadoes, severe thunderstorms) events and related stuff, a new folder called "Severe Weather" be created. Since those events do not know boundaries and often can be useful in both US Weather and Global Weather, I think a separate folder should be made for them as they also are quite prevalent in the existing folders. (There is already a similar folder for winter weather)

I agree, although we will have to have more severe wx posters here. 8-)

don't we have enough forums? All you have to do is go through 2 forums to find any severe weather threads. I don't think there's a need for an additional fourm.

Severe weather regarding tropical weather can be found in Talkin' Tropics. All other severe weather in the U.S. goes into USA Weather, unless it's winter-related, and in that case it would likely be found in the Winter Forum. If it's severe weather outside the U.S., it would go into Global Weather. It seems to work fine the way it is and I don't see why we need another forum either.
