I also believe it's an eye.. and still think we may have a 75 mph Cat 1 at landfall..

The 11 pm advisory will be very interesting.

He's probably basing it on the fact that if it hits just east of Wilmington then Jacksonville then MHC will be in the RFQ.

there looks like a major eye or COC and then a smaller unclear eye in the northern part of the COC

Bane: good to see you again. Looks like an eye wall type feature rotating in to your location. It does appear to me tho that the center will pass just east of the cape. Center should be in the east side of that dry slot on radar...if it has maintained the previous heading.

those where the center is coming in - just be prepared - it is no fun! Been there and done that with some just a little stronger than this. Hope you keep power - we didn't, now have a generator - that is a true life saver!
