No official report of landfall yet, but from what I see with my amatuer eyes, it looks like the center of the center is on land to me......which is the definition of landfall. Its hard to tell because that point of land (Cape Fear?) sticks out there, after landfall a good portion of the COC could remain over water a little longer......because of the shape of the coast. I'm judging all this by looking at this loop. See and judge for yourself.

Yeah, leave it to Ernesto to continue to baffle us. The shape of the coast and direction he's traveling, it might just clip cape fear and paralell the coast with half his COC hanging out over water on the way up to Wilmington.
